On our trip down to Cancun, our flight was about two hours late getting into Cancun. <br /><br />On our trip back, our 11:00 a.m. flight was canceled entirely. First we were booked on a flight getting into Miami at 4:00, and the last plane leaving for our final destination was scheduled to leave at 4:20. It would have been impossible to make this flight and we would have had to spend the night at a hotel in Miami. The airline then re-scheduled us (without telling us) on a flight leaving Cancun at 7:00 in the morning, which made it possible to catch a 12:00 plane for our final destination. In order to get to the airport, however, we had to call a cab for pickup at 4:30 in the morning, and at an additional cost of $60.<br /><br />There were no delays for any of the other parties on Delta or Northwest Airlines on either the trips down or the trips home.<br /><br />I’d suggest that if you have a choice to schedule your flights on an airline other than American.QueenBeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03440306798569228338noreply@blogger.com
