4 - 6 pork chops
1 cup cooking sherry
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. grated garlic
In a covered container mix together all ingredients except the pork chops. When these ingredients are thoroughly mixed add the pork chops and put the cover on the container. Marinate at least 6 hours in the refrigerator. Discard the marinade and grill the chops on the grill or bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes. (If I am low on one of the liquid ingredients I just make sure I mix together equal parts of the sherry, oil and soy sauce and I periodically flip the pork chops so both sides are marinaded equally.)
