Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix

Making your own mixes not only allows you to control the sodium and fat content of what you eat, it's easy! You can easily customize the mix to your own taste.

5 tablespoons dried minced onions
7 teaspoons parsley flakes
4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt (I also like to add a dash of pepper and a little pinch of dill weed, but hubby likes it better without these ingredients)

Mix everything together and store in an air tight container.

For dressing: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup sour cream.
For dip: Mix 2 tablespoons dry mix with 2 cups sour cream.
Refrigerate until serving. (A few hours lets all the ingredients blend)

Other tips:
Add a little to your dry coating mix for pork chops, chicken, etc.
