1 and
one-half bags of Dole coleslaw mix
1 small onion, diced
2 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
In a large bowl mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and oil. Stir until smooth. Add the chopped cabbage and mix well. You may want to transfer it to a smaller bowl once it is all mixed together. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
(NOTE:: I save the extra half bag of cabbage to add to soup.)
